Hello everybody.

This time, I will give you some information about important facilities in Korea.

 

- What the National Assembly does -

 

Korea is in charge of legislation.

The budget of the year is reviewed by the budget of Korea.

The National Assembly audits the state and prepares for the deliberation of legislative and budgetary deliberations.

 

  

2. The Memorial Hall of the National Assembly.

 

The Memorial Hall is a museum that introduces the transition from the provisional government and the Constitutional Assembly to the 20th anniversary of the National Assembly. You can buy souvenirs.

 

3. How to observe.                           

 

Foreigners can email visitor inquiries at visitor@assembly.go.kr.

Visitor applications can be made only three days prior to the visit.

It is about 40 minutes from the time of the observation.

It can be registered every hour from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays. (Except lunch time, 12 o'clock 1 hour. Reservation is possible from 1 o'clock.).

Weekdays 09:00 – 18:00 (last admission 17:00).

Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. (Lunch is available on Saturdays).

Memorial Hall (no guided tours).
National Assembly Building (only group of 10 persons or more).

 

Closed days Public holidays, Sundays, National Assembly opening day (May 31).

 

 

There is a course for visitors only to the National Assembly hall, and a course for visitors to the National Assembly and the National Memorial Hall.

 

You can choose it when you book.

 

Notice. -

No provision of English interpreter when visiting the National Assembly.

Instead, distribute brochures in English, Chinese and Japanese.

 

There is no interpreter provided.

English pamphlets available.

 

 

 

 

4. Location.                                       

 

 

 

 

 

The National Assembly is located at the western end of Yeouido in Seoul.

Address: 1, Uisadang-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea.

 

When you come out of Exit 5 of the National Assembly Station Line 9, you can see the National Assembly in front of you.

 

Crossing the pedestrian crossing leads directly to the second entrance of the National Assembly.

You should go to the back of the National Assembly building, not to the main gate of the National Assembly.

 

 

 

If you walk a little along the road to the left through the exit 2, turn right and walk along the side of the square, you will see a blue sign on the pedestrian crossing.
